Nancy H. Welber
Nancy H. Welber has been a practicing attorney and CPA since 1982. Nancy is a 1979 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Buisiness Administration and a 1982 graduate of the Michigan Law School. She has presented seminars and written articles on employee benefits (most recently on the rules and taxes applicable to pension distributions). Nancy is particularly knowledgeable about accounting and tax issues pertaining to pensions and employee benefits and in the treatment of employee benefits in estate planning. She is the 1991-1992 chairperson of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the Washtenaw County Bar Association. Nancy has been named by peer review to the 2001- 2007 Editions of The Best Lawyers in America® and was named as a life member of the National Registry of Who’s Who, published in the 2002 edition. Nancy is also a member of the Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s Probate and Estate Planning Advisory Board and recently published a chapter in the ICLE Estate Planning Handbook concerning estate planning with retirement benefits.
